The usual poo brown is a byproduct of the bacteria in our colon digesting bile and red blood cells. Generally, a regular brown poop is a-ok. But we all know that not every day is a brown day. Most varieties in color are due to changing the foods and medications in your diet. Some of these changes are your body acclimating and should eventually revert back to classic brown. However, changes in poo color over long periods of time can be a sign of gastrointestinal disorder. For example, green poo could mean you've started incorporating more greens into your diet (which is awesome will defiantly help you lose weight). But a long-term dose of green monsters in your toilet bowl can be a sign of gastrointestinal infection. (dun, dun, dun) If your poo is yellow it means your body is not metabolizing fat.
