Always exceptions to the rule. Many if not most doctors blame the weight gain on inactivity and food choices. Whereas, doctors do not inform their patients that there is substantial risk in said medication increasing colonization of staphylococcus aureus (SA). PMID: 31276521, PMID: 22955426. Unfortunately, Medical Doctors and the general public is simply unaware of said colonization. In addition, the research is only covering the increase in increased nasal colonization and fails to mention that intracellular colonization by said bacteria is not detected by current medical lab testing used in Doctor offices and hospitals. Whereas, if you test positive for nasal colonization, research shows you are most likely going to be colonized with intracellular SA in multiple locations in the body like your throat, keratinocytes, macrophages, epithelial cells, endothelial cells, bones, muscles, spine and much more. Antibiotics and high linoleic levels in the body ( @PaulSaladinoMD and @DrBerg were right about Linoleic Acid being unhealthy) turn on pathogenic genes causing SA to change into an intracellular form, L-Form Cell Wall Deficient and or persister that current medications are not able to eradicate. This initial colonization of SA can affect women, their children and husbands for the rest of their lives. Not only does this pathogen cause weight gain issues, but research shows that BCP users become more susceptible to autoimmune diseases. PMID: 28912620 This is why so many women who take said BCP, get diagnosed with autoimmune issues. The reason is SA stimulates an inflammatory pathway that causes dysregulation of FGF28. The dysfunction of this peptide lowers vitamin d levels in the body. Almost all properly diagnosed autoimmune diseased patients have deficient, insufficient and low vitamin d levels. Some patients even develop Vitamin D Binding Protein dysfunction which makes it difficult to increase vitamin d levels and require extremely high vitamin d3 supplementation. SA has evolved to secrete toxins that stimulate metabolic pathways to cause the body to lower vitamin d levels as a defense mechanism against vitamin d. Vitamin D is the body’s most potent immune system stimulant including procuring LL37 peptide which is the main peptide to kill intracellular SA.
